Principal and University official detained by the police

Mysore, June 22 : Principal of a private college in the city and a Bangalore University official were today detained by the police after allowing the students to copy in the BCom examination.
Police said both had alleged collected Rs 2000 each from 30 students and provided them with answer scripts along with the question paper. After the incident came to light, members of NSUI barged into the examination hall and alleged thrashed the Bangalore University observer biradar and Principal of the college Balakrishna. The second year were writing their Banking Theory conducted by Bangalore University Distant Education Programme.
